The People to know at ICS
There are many people that make up Intown Community School. The
Head of School,
Pamela
J. Stegall, is a
church staff member under the authority of the Session, charged with carrying out the vision of the school. She is given discretion and authority in providing direction and leading the day-to-day operations of the school. Because of our strong desire to extend the learning at home by proving a strong education that is authentically Christian, the
teachers and faculty have multiple roles of discipler, quasi-parent, and educator. The school
ministry
team is comprised of elders of the church, school parents, and
other members of Intown Community Church who desire to help with
this ministry.
Parents are also a vital part of Intown as God has given them the primary responsibility for deciding how to teach their children about Him and train them in His ways. Our goal, together with the parents, is to give the students a Christ-centered education that will instill a lifelong love of learning with a distinctively biblical world view.
